Today - Sunday - is my last day in Lechovo. It was a long day. Church began at 7:15 a.m. and finished at 10:45 a.m. I'll spare you the details. Suffice to know that my role during the Divine Liturgy was maximized as the rubrics permitted.

We ate lunch on a moored floating platform at the Restaurant Ostrovo. Had a Macedonian salad [cukes, tomatoes, onions and peppers] and a Skopska beer ; have just 75 denars left. Discussion about Greek refreshments, Kindles and Ian's love of trains consumed the time. Had to chuckle when the English said chips/french fries with a fried egg was a good combo.
The ungodly sum of 35M was allotted for souvenir ...
