    ... our next door neighbors arrived with a screaming baby. Wonderful! I had to use ear plugs. I was asleep on my stomach and someone grabbed and shook my toes. I thought "not now, you gotta be kidding me". I thought Nick or Jeff were trying to wake me because I had over slept. When I opened my eyes it was still dark and nobody was there.

    ... we were quite far from the nearest town so we had to drive and drive and drive until we finally found a small village called Mitchell in wich we found the "Historic Oregon Hotel". The lady at the counter, she remined me a bit of Dolly Parton for some reason, told us that we had to hurry next door if we wanted to have dinner because the diner were closing and offered us to check in after that.     Mitchell consisted of a road not even a half a mile long, with a small market, a cozy old fashioned inn, a cute little diner and a small town park where we stayed. With no place to shower, we enjoyed soaking each other with the hose in fifty degree weather. It was pretty hard to sleep that night because of the low temperature , but we sucked it up and looked forward to a sunny ride the next morning. Oh by the way we are still having trouble with Chris' tire. ...

    ... and coyotes - it was really cool, and we really were in the middle of nowhere. We climbed really high, and the way down was really scarey; if I had leant any further back I would have been horizontal with the horse.
