... Hungarian basilica's isn't complete until you've been photographed with the local medieval flutist. The evening consisted of beers atop a bar created from a castles turret. Followed by the days highlight, dinner at Primas Pince, a restaurant located in a converted wine cellar. Rose enjoyed a salivating duck lasagna with creamy plum sauce that she has continually talked about every day ...

Left 1.20 this afternoon on train to Szob to check out regional Hungary. Beautiful scenery and the ever flowing Danube. Szob is located on the border of Hungary & Slovakia. I cannot wait to take a ...

The smallest locks (69 of them on our cruise) are 12m wide, leaving very little space either side of the 11.45m wide boat. Tomorrow I'll add some pics of the ...

... we celebrated with a traditional Hungarian meal of shared plate of salamis and sausage, followed by Hungarian Goulash, then pancakes and coffees. Some of the group went straight to their cabins and to bed, but we headed back to lounge bar to listen to the two singers and a bit of dancing. Lasted about an hour and a half, even did a few of our Tango steps, which seems to have improved our other dancing along the way. Slept very ...
