Eventually we saw light at the end of the tunnel and arrived back almost where we had started, some hour or more previously.

The area is riddled with holes, which animals can fall down into the cave system. One day a woman walked out to work on her land, but forgot the stake to tie her goat to. So, she tied the goat to the sail of the windmill and walked back to get the stake. The wind blew and the windmill turned and the goat got hung. Not to dwell on tragedy, they ate the goat.

... as we neared the penzion (privat 556) again. We could see some bats skimming across the lake, catching flies and midges. The bats roosted under the bridge. That was exciting, and nearly made up for paying for somewhere, then not feeling comfortable enough to use it. Even more bizarrely, the people we were allegedly likely to disturb, had a little yappy terrier that barked every time we left our room.

... a life force, and it hates me. When my parents come, we fly in to there, but out of BCN. HOPEFULLY, our bags com out quickly, and I never have to speak to another employee there! To make financial matters worse, I got home to find out that my job no longer existed. As I had mentioned, we were working on one particular survey, and it turns out the camping kid from Hawaii got it all done this semester. So, today ended up costing about 660 bucks that I hadn't foreseen. AWESOME

Woke up this morning to a beautiful sunrise, and the chirp of a bird I've never heard. I opened my bay windows to realize there was a crispiness to the air that I wasnt used to. From here on out, my focus is just going to be on enjoying every minute and everything I do because I know when I get back I will think how great it was over here.
