    ... lunch just around the corner in Hotel Couisianna, sat in the shade, (by now it's over 25 and hot) we have a club sandwich 8/10 and a goats cheese, horseradish and pistachio salad 9/10, both again enjoyable and for me washed down with local white wine, a bargain at less than £3 equiv. and better half's beer, not so cheap....     Day 2 PM - The Hotel Upon entrance into the hotel the grandness continues, a friendly welcome in English (thank goodness) let's face it other than a small amount of German I am in language terms inept! and then we are shown around the stylish hotel and up to our room, which is stylish, large, clean, with views across the buildings to the woods and Cathedral of St Paul and Peter (which despite being under scaffolding you can still appreciate its true beauty.)     ... 35 per night.  That can't be right, but I am assured that it is - Wow!  There is a dress code for certain areas of the hotel.  You have to dress for dinner (trousers and shirt) which I always quite like.  It sort of goes back to days when it was the 'Done thing’.  Even though this is a Spa hotel, you aren’t allowed to hang around the bar or other communal areas in dressing gowns or sports ...
