... rate for one litre Avgas more than a good Dinner at the best Restaurant in Town..... absurd ! In this part of the World Private Flight is an huge undertaking needing almost a full time Operation Management... well I do not have that in my Adventure nor do I think it would be justified therefore I have to do it myself trying to juggle... ... he knew where it was. How wrong could I have been! On a positive note I saw most of the city more than once, passing the same landmarks from pretty much every direction! I kept yelling "Evergreen Homestay" in his ear (as I hung on to the back of his motorbike with my rucksack wobbling precariously) every time he pulled up at the wrong hotel and just as I was going to give up and find someone else, he found the back street leading to the homestay! ...

... So this is what we did. The food at our homestay was fantastic with decent portions and our hosts were polite. Albeit K had the usual vegetarian difficulties to contend with. Long day - we were up at 5:30am to catch the fast ferry over to Rote. Sleep, a lie-in and beach -time tomorrow. Nice. Couldn't finish this without a mention of the tail minus gecko incident.
