Now for our finale - the f..up. We arrived in Mumbai International Airport (all of one week old) around midnight, got thru the assorted formalities and went out to find that our complimentary bus to the hotel wasn't there.

After a good 14 hours of sleep, ( no, that is not a typo) we are preparing our bodies for the jet lag ahead. Our first flight is 9 1/2 hrs, and the second flight is 12 1/2 hrs. There is a day's stop in between them, but, the body is ***********vince to adjust sometimes.

... prompts a quick call to the front desk. We are feeling very tired so we hit the sack for a good sleep.

Great breakfast in the Clubroom looking out over the Arabian Sea then we hit the streets to explore Mumbai. As we get close to the area known as India Gate we are swamped with touts offering their services for a guided day tour of Mumbai. We soon select one, negotiate a price and itinerary and off we go with our driver, Gophish.
