... go through a tank full of sharks and all sorts of things like that, but you actually can't open your eyes in the shark tank (unless you've got goggles on, but even then, you wouldn't see much) because there's so much water around you blasting up at your face because of the speed you're going at but even if there wasn't water spraying all around you, you still couldn't see anything, because your going so fast that everything around you is a blur.
But ...

... our new flight to Buenos Aires. We still feel lucky after getting to see Dubai for the day, nearly all expenses paid. Maybe subconsciously we planned it this way, over looking the Reciprocity fee requirements on purpose. We have no idea, but in the end we were very happy to have witnessed the craziness of Dubai first hand and may very well return one day.


We will soon be arriving in Buenos Aires after a long 17 hours of flying, so until then.

... kept offering me taxi rides. Just as there were salons for women there were "men only" shops too for similar practices. It is all very equitable. The women's salons were much more glammed up though. Restaurants are usually Indian or Chinese or a fusion. I had hoped to find a restaurant for dinner tonight that served local food. The hotel restaurant is Italian. There are one or two dishes that pay homage to a form of local cuisine so I might choose that. Mosques appear to ...

... sorting it out. Then it was all rush. I have forgotten several things probably more than I realize yet, still it will be ok, I hope!!!
We stayed at the White House Hotel in Horley, which was a bit grotty, on Wednesday night to catch the early morning flight to Dubai. The curry was very good though.
We flew with Emirates and it was the most fantastic airline ever. Really enjoyed the flight apart from the stroppy businessman ...

As for yesterday we were sent out on another scavenger hunt here in Hanoi with challenges from crossing the street ( a frightening experience), finding weasel coffee, eating local cuisine , visiting museums, crossing the red bridge at the lake, finding info on the water puppets, and a whole list of other things.
