... i know the heat would eventually become an annoyance.

So, tomorrow is the big day where i'll be moving to Oz!. My bags are all packed and i'm ready to go!!!. Flight is at 10:15am (7:15am UK Time), so a nice early start!. The flight is about 14 hours so long so its a bit of a killer although it'll be worth it.

Right time for bed, i'll keep you all updated as soon as i touch down in Sydney!

After a difficult flight time wise - left at 9pm and was only a 6 and a half hour flight - we arrived at Dubai a tired lot. Got to the hotel at about 9am local time in time for breakfast. After this we all had a couple of hours sleep. Later in the evening Ruby thought we had been here two days as we had already had a sleep in the hotel. The Atlantis is an awesome hotel; very friendly staff, beautiful pools and ...

... went to the Dubai Mall to experience the Burj Khalifa's aptly named "At the Top". The world's tallest building, a mere 828 metres (2716.5 feet). The elevator takes you to the outdoor Observation Deck on Level 128. And then there were nearly as many levels above as you will see from one of my pictures.

We enjoyed a Dhow dinner cruise on the Dubai Creek for our last night there.

      Next destination Prague.

... and Sophie went ice skating.

After Allison had finished cleaning the skating rink rail we went to the Burj Khalifa. The observation tower is 124 floors up.

Unfortunately the humidity/haze makes it hard to get a really good view of Dubai.
