    ... there was very little traffic, we arrived at the airport in good time.
    We checked our bags in, luckily this time they are going direct to Manchester. At security, we were not allowed to take through the drinks cartons that we had been given, so we drank them there on the spot. The airport is small so we went straight to the gate to await boarding and ate our packed breakfast.

    ... a chat and then pack up time. I can report that Stella woke three times during the night calling out for me but then settled quickly. I resisted the temptation to sneak in but feared the wrath of the father! Nah, she did stir, but not for long.

    We had a very enjoyable day - first the mosque where we learnt heaps and then by taking in the sights of the capital and financial centre of the UAE. Well worth a visit to the area - even in the heat.

    ... Dusit have never made a martini so we taught him what to do, and he learnt very quickly. It ended up superbly although 6 oz of gin could probably be considered excessive in some circles.
    On our last full day in Dubai we visited the Dubai museum which show the history of the area, well worth couple of $ it cost. From there we had a quick visit to one of the Irish pubs before getting back to our hotel so we could be met to go on ...

    ... Dont know how but we were still hungry so went to the lime tree cafe for the worlds biggest and best slice of carrot cake, felt like i was gonna explode after that. Back to ryans to mong out for a while. This is the last chance he will have to see his neice so he went to do that.
