... indoor ski hill, and it is in the heart of the dessert - amazing!!!! Dubai has also increased its coastline by building its own island - 520 kilometers of new Persian a Gulf coastline. The Palm Jumeriah is unbelievable, a huge island that was built in the shape of a palm tree with a crescent at the top. It is huge, with the trunk of the palm tree being 5 kilometers long and the width also 5 kilometers wide. It was built by dredging sand from the sea floor and ...

The number one attraction I wanted to see while in Dubai was the Burj Khaleefa. Soon it was time to get in the car and drive out of Dubai to a restaurant called The Farm which is in an artificial oasis. It was cool and green and leafy. The flowers were beautiful and when it got dark at 5pm little lights came ...

High Tea at Burj Al Arab

This is a 7 star event at the Burj Al Arab hotel. This hotel sits on a man-made island accessible via a causeway. There is a security check at the gate and your name has to be on the list before you are allowed entry. A bit over the top…

It was amazing inside. Lots of Christmas decorations. 2 enormous wall aquariums full of exotic tropical fish. I could look at them for ...
