It was 8am I had to get ready to go and volunteer at the
local birdlife park. I had room service
for breakfast it was fast. I got ready to go to the Kiwi Birdlife Park at the
local zoo it Queenstown. The bus took me to the zoo. It opened at 9; 30am. I was
placed with some that worked there. They showed me around. I saw all the
animals. The first thing that this made me do was go and clean out the ...

After about 2.5 hours we came to Ben Lomond Saddle, but don't be fouled, it wasn't flat! There was a market on so we wandered around the stalls, got ourselves necklaces (made of Greenstone, and bone). We took a wander through Queenstown Gardens on ...

... foetal position (for the second time of the trip). Definitely not the desired position. The fifth zipline was the longest yet and overlooked Lake Wakatipu. Our challenge for this one was to stay as straight as possible so we could really take in the view. Obviously I span and only got to appreciate about half of it. It was still a stunning view though, from what I saw. After the fifth zipline we had a 20 minute walk to the final one. We walked ...

... of experience so we were pretty safe but there were definitely some ‘wow, that was close!’ moments. Out on the water for about half an hour, the boat travelled back and forth along the 7km stretch of river and doing 360 degree spins. Jo's word of the day is 'woooosh!' as she kept saying it when we were spinning around. We knew we would have fun, so we already pre-booked Instant Replay ...
