We stretched out a bit at the top and then walked down the next one. This was where I found it tricky. There was some water residue still on the floor of the slide and we were going on a downward incline. ... For every two minutes late I was, I was going to get 10 burpees. I sat and waited at the bus stop for 10 minutes and I could finally have a quick breather. Luckily the bus actually showed up and I got back to town at 6:35. I had to be at CrossFit at 6:50 and it's a 15-20 minute walk. Not wanting to spend more money on a taxi and not wanting any extra burpees - I ran. Whilst running I realised all I'd eaten all day was a bowl of porridge and a bowl of soup. ...

The final great thing about Queenstown was that I got to meet up with my old friend Katie who'd lived in my flat when I first moved up to Edinburgh. It was great to spend some time catching up with her and her now husband Werner, and also get to meet her lovely 2 daughters Jasmine and Clara :-)

The New Zealanders began to land on the beaches at Anzac Cove, Gallipoli from about 9 a.m. on 25 April. At the end of the day, they reckon there were 147 fatalities. They also wear poppies as a symbol of respect in remembering those that fought, and still fight. So that's a bit about that. ...

... small bag. All kitted out, we head for the helicopter. It's a short but awesome ride up. As we climb up along the side of the mountain and clear the ridges, the pilot dips the helicopter down into the valleys, before landing us up on the glacier. It's a scramble to get out and out the crimpers on. All ready we start to climb up the glacier. It's just a great experiences and definitely a NZ highlight. As we go higher the glacier cracks get bigger so ...
