... flights by a week, or if there are, maybe I'd get a refund on a weeks worth of car rental so it will offset the costs. Sorry to disappoint you all by not supplying another 12 days of giggle inducing blog, but I feel my depression creeping back into force and I'm just not enjoying myself as I had hoped at this stage. ... We passed old gold mining equipment and observed a second location from "Lord of the Rings". We completed one last swirl before heading back door the roaring river at 80 km/hr. Judging from everyones grin it was evident if was a great pick for an excursion. We stopped at a lookout on the way back for some time to marvel at the landscape. Again we made it across the treacherous road and returned to Queenstown in time to catch the 4th quarter ...

... my ride up to Coronet Peak for hang gliding. After a bit of waiting around and learning how to run, we were able to go hand gliding and great fun it was too! (photos and videos to follow) After this headed back to the hostel for a snack dinner of leftover smoked salmon, salad and pasta before having a Skype call with Sara, Steve and Esta - lovely to catch up ...
