        ... but he did notice Junko’s tube now had four new patches. He went over and over the tire and rim to make sure there was nothing left behind that would cause a puncture. All it could have been was a loose valve which was one of the 'tricky’ things Dave had read about the valve – for those unfamiliar with it. He put everything back together and made the bike road ready before breakfast.
