... turn off all outside taps in the winter to prevent the pipes from being damaged when frozen, common sense when you think about it. Upon arriving into Vienna we located a Laundrette the other side of town, drove over there in rush hour and desperately cleaned some clothes. One out of the four complete not bad! Arrived late at a designated park spot for campers on the outskirts of ...

Austria hasn't banned smoking in public places so when we all got back to the hotel, we STANK! Bleurgh! It was a good night though! I don't think I've laughed so much in one day before!

Off to a spa tomorrow for a relax - cannot wait!!

After the deaths of Prince Rudolf and Baroness Vetsera, the Emperor Franz Joseph, who wanted to found a new church, had the building turned into a convent which was settled by nuns of the Discalced ...

... planned for next Wednesday and we are expected to present something about our home culture. Should be interesting.

I might be coming down with a cold and I have an early train to catch in the morning, so I'm once again skipping the social excursion - a trip to a traditional wine tavern. Hopefully I'll have more to report next week. For now, enjoy the pictures.
