... the bosphorus. It seems to be a city wich contains all I love and all I hate. There is so much social, environmental, logistical problems in this city, but somehow the people I have met and the smell and wind of the sea made this place special. For sure a reason to come back to Istanbul would be the alernative project 'Neverland' in Istanbul where I have spend my last days painting (murals) on walls ...

... the landscapes. This is so different from home that I'm still confused about how to get from here to my Oma's house... and it's only 5 minutes away! I'd love to be driving, but you all know what a chicken I am when it comes to getting lost and I can guarantee that I would be hopelessly so by the time I got to the end of the block! Due to the sheer volume of traffic, the roads are incredibly well designed with ...

... burger and alphabet soup for dinner. It was comforting. It was a good that we had a kitchen because everything, food included, is expensive in Vienna. The rest of the night we stayed in and watched CNN with the roommates. Not because CNN is particularly interesting but because it's the only station in English. This also provided good topics of conversation between the Serbian/Chinese/German/American roommates. I've almost learned more about the world from our various roommates then from our travels.

The Fifth Day

... we all went to a restaurant that served Eloise and my favorite drinks, again which was at Cantino that we could not have legally have dranken in the states, then once she and me felt we had gotton to a good place we left with Salar even though he had to just sit there while we got happy. Once home we were too tired to do anything else even though it was our last day in WIEN.

... things to look at. I thought that it would be some-what boring because hey what is there to really see at place like this. After some time i did find some intresting things that i liked and i really found and intrest in, but it kinda sucked because by the time i found some things that i liked Salar and Eloise wanted to leave. Once we left we just took a tazi back because it was kinda late and going back it costed 35 Euro ...

The Second Day

So i woke up pretty early actaully, like thats just my way of doing things even when i didnt get that much sleep. ... for opeining time. I arrived at the correct destination easily, it can be recognized by the very expensive hotels, or well, also just by the Sacher Hotel, and the Starbucks, MacDonalds, and your usual memorial to the tourists who make such wonders as eating a ****** hamburger right two blocks away from some of the best restaurants possible. I got my first dose of tourists and fled towards the hose of music. There, strangely enough, I found little to no ...

... problem is we had to walk about 2 miles to take it back as some other ******** had taken our space in the 'City Bike' Park which conveniently has depots dotted around the city. Great chuffing idea if you have to go 2 miles from your destination just to put the frigging bike back! You can see the German Efficiency hasnt quite rubbed of on them yet - maybe another invasion is required. So, then walk along the river ...

Not again!!!!!

... day. We were dropped off in the same place as the day before with < 2 hours to spare. We ate at a restaurant by St. Stephan's where we had a cute blond waiter. We had a good meal consisting of lasagna and carrots and were able to use the bathroom without a fee. lol We went to the ice cream place again and this time I got a cone with dark chocolate. Delicious! Aside from Vienna having good ice cream, fresh water from the faucet and the waltz being fantastic, the ...

Once outside we looked at some recently dug up Roman ruins and had a cup of coffee in a pavement cafe outside the palace and opposite a wonderful fountain with statues depicting mythical figures, an eagle and a python. We were also entertained by the constant clip clop of horses as they pulled their master's carriages full ...
