... menu and a good ale. Along the way, taking front line space in its entrance, was a café with a board giving the progress draw for the World Cup. I can only assume that a very large screen resided within to ensnare the eager soccer fan. With eyes alert for an appropriate eatery, we encountered a sign dear to our hearts, "Australia Pub." I went into the building to see how many people were in the queue and, seeing as it was getting chilly outside and I didn't know what else to do with the day, I too joined the queue at 4pm, three hours before the start of the opera - keen as mustard! My hour and a half wait for a ticket (only 4 euros by the way, an absolute bargain compared to the 100+ for some of the shoddier seats, booked over a month ago) was made ...

... we decided to try out the local night life! We found a bar called "Bar Orange" (It's not just a fruit). We got there for happy hour 9-11pm and it was goood! The downside - Smokers. Austria hasn't banned smoking in public places so when we all got back to the hotel, we STANK! Bleurgh! It was a good night though! I don't think I've laughed so much in one day before!

Off to a spa tomorrow for a relax - cannot wait!!
