Despite our planning, Vienna had her own ideas about what we would do today. It was another sunny and hot day. We set out excitedly (well, Christine was excited) to see the Lippizaner Stallions perform. On the way past St. Stephen's cathedral, we were deafened by the bells. What this time...just church letting out? Yes and no. Out came a parade of children who had just received First Communion with their parents and the priests. ... we decided to try out the local night life! We found a bar called "Bar Orange" (It's not just a fruit). We got there for happy hour 9-11pm and it was goood! The downside - Smokers. Austria hasn't banned smoking in public places so when we all got back to the hotel, we STANK! Bleurgh! It was a good night though! I don't think I've laughed so much in one day before!

Off to a spa tomorrow for a relax - cannot wait!!

... in hostels are supposed to be covered with the "second sheet" which is actually more like a sleeping bag. We explained that a comforter with a print on it is not a duvet in Canada... Either way it was pretty funny. They probably believed us when we said we had butlers.... Haha. That night we headed for dinner at an authentic Austrian pub and most people had schnitzel, dumplings, and the typical Austrian fare. Michelle went for the lasagna and I had a Caprese salad and a side order ...
