To be honest, the only reason to go to Mexico Beach is to eat at Killer Seafood. Lots of beach but the community ambience is kind a meh. we went into Port St Joe after for late lunch and found Pepper's, a very authentic Mexican restaurant.
Port St Joe seems just a tad weird - seemingly not much there but we'll established pretty big CVS pharmacy, Piggly Wiggly, MacDonalds etc- we concluded it must be a major boat slip for high end recreational fishing folks.

Ted was awake before Sheree and started the drive around 6:00 am. It was foggy and damp so not much could be seen for several hours until the sun burned it off.
