We were invited out with some of the staff on Tuesday night to Laowi Town to a quiz night which was good fun. We then met Silvie, the CP at Munchner Biergarten, the German bar on Wednesday and the Italian restaurant Thursday evenings.

After I pretend to enjoy what I’m doing, I go to where I can get wifi and call my mom and step-dad to vent about everything. My host family stays in the house ALL DAY. I asked the host daughter if she wanted to go to the mall with me and she said no. I asked the eight year old boy if he wanted to play soccer with me outside and he said no. I got ...

Today was a great day. It was a MUCH needed great day. I finally had my first full day off from playing English teacher and was able to meet up with Alex and do fun things in our new home. I took the 15 minute bus ride to her house and was feeling confident that I remembered how to walk there from the bus stop. WRONG. When I stepped out of the bus I had absolutely no idea where to go and started freaking out. I was standing on the sidewalk looking around, trying to ...
