      ... for a while, another told me how this Texan musician couldn't get someone to publish his music in the US, but Australia did. I then got asked to say something, anything so they could hear my accent. I obliged and then joined in with part of Eric Vogals song 'And the band played Waltzing Matilda'. Next they sang me 'the man in the big hat' a Texan cowboy song. Kelley gave me his card and told me if I was ever over this way again to look him up. A grand time was had ...

      ... pops on over!! Things that are the same, but different!! (AKA similar) The driver's side in the car.... which I keep trying to sit in as a passenger. Crossing the road and knowing which way to look so I won't get taken out. Writing the date... I have to be very careful to write the date back to front now. At the shops.... Me: How much much do these beans cost per kilogram? Shop assistant: 88cents per pound madam. Learning that 'tooling' means the same as ...

      ... to recall the events of that day. The cockroach museum lightened things up for us- it was a quick, but memorable stop( wink, wink!). Our drive to Austin was full of exclamations-"Blue Bonnets!! Blue Bonnets on the right!!" The roadside was so colorful. Once in Austin, it was fried chicken at Lucy's- fun to sit out in the cool evening air with a tin bucket of fried chicken- and some FRIED deviled eggs.       ... sunny day so it's almost a crime to stay inside but there we were.

      In the evening there were a series of parties. First for the foreign delegates in the atrium. Awful wine but some quite interesting people. I chatted to the Australians and Canadians before going off to the main party. This took place in the resort's 'night club', a separate building about 100m away on the shores of Lake Grapevine.       ... 8211; just a quick toilet break,
      then on the coach for a bit, relaxed, and we stopped at Wichita
      falls, but only at the Walmart, here i had a quick walk around, got
