... we are still somewhat connected in similar inter-faith battles today). The castle is not as well preserved as the fortress we'd visited in jaca but was most impressive even if we couldn't get great detail from the wholly Spanish signage. We located the Mayor and enjoyed a coffee and snack (despite service from seemingly disinterested staff - some may think as a Paradorian my newly found expectations of high standards have become a little precious, but this would ...

... Route organization is amazing. There are safety motorcycles everywhere keeping an eye on everyone. I had to stop for a pee on this stretch and I had a safety motorcycle wait for me and then lead me back to the peloton! I felt as though I was in the Tour! Another time, I was in the lead coming through a small town in the flat section at high speed. We had a motorcyclist in front of us blowing his horn and whistle to get traffic out of the way!

Roaring river next to us, that once again will drown out local traffic. We ...

... roadside scenery was great, but there is nothing more entertaining than eavesdropping on your children during a mind-numbing 4 hr drive. While Che lay in Anya's lap acting like some strange animal that Anya was simultaneously grooming and wrestling (all battles take place in seat belts mind you) we heard, Che: "Ooch" Anya: "Sorry, I was just being a dentist". And later, "Can I braid your eyebrows?" No! WTF!? Who said that!? "Aren't you guys glad we're not Siamese ...

... If you are in the market for a new car, camera or watch Andorra La Vella, the main town of Andorra is for you. Seated in the valley of the Pyrenees, geographically the town was stunning but we quickly found it just felt like we were staying in the duty free section of an airport. No soul, no good food and rude shoppers. What a shame. We were a little confused as Rod our Aussie housemate in Uganda said that Andorra was an awesome little country. Rod is definately not known ...
