      Day 8

      Tuesday 8th July 2014

*We would have liked to stay longer in Erdobenye.

*We drive 150 km along a mainly rural route towards the Romanian border. We pass through villages where there are stork nests on the top of every lamp post. Curiously some nests have just 1 adult standing guard whilst others have 4 or 5 clambering for space. Must google why!

Bucharest is a bigger city, but I prefer the feel of Cluj. A big turn off was the mass amounts of people that approach asking to buy their products/services or just give them money.

Everything is quite affordable in Cluj-Napoca, and the grocery store next door accepts VISA (luckily). We were ...

... how lucky we are with our smoking laws but it was great night with everyone just minus the leaky stinging eyes and smoke embedded into our clothes! Haha Friday 4th - today we got organised for our camping trip tonight. Went into town for lunch in the centre square then did some food shopping. We left as soon as Rovi and Cata got home, a nice squishy car trip, filled with yoghurt smelling ***** from Bono! The place we stayed was away from towns and nested in ...

... that the world isn't such an unfriendly place after all, no matter how far away from "home" you happen to be. Still, you will be out of your comfort zone quite often, and you will find out that you can handle a lot more that you thought you could.

As far as the places I've seen, I have said most that's to be said already. One thing I regret was not spending more that 3 days in Cambodia, since I had to make a choice and I chose Songkran in Chiang ...
