It is hard to improve on perfection!

This is an absolutely stunning property in the diplomatic area of the city, with amazing service. There is a bit of a revolution going on at the moment in this country, and there are hardly any other guests. I'm relishing the royal treatment! Could not be happier with this choice, especially since it is walking distance to Maidan Square and the Opera House. My only thought, sitting here writing this late at night in my room, is that the room could use a few more lamps. But that is a very minor thing overall.

I did enjoy a 3 nights twin/double accommodation with my wife experiencing the unique Kiev atmosphere and the luxury Opera hotel lodging. We booked a Kiev city break with panorama-tours.eu, we were transferred from the airport and back, we are definitely very happy with all our stay at Opera hotel and the Kiev city break in general. We would like to greatly recommend getting to Kiev enjoying Kiev city break packages - lots to do and see

Strange. I expect to be cramped on the flight to Frankfurt, and then to have an empty plane from there to Kiev. It is just the opposite! I am able to stretch out across three empty seats in a 777 going to Frankfurt (United flight about 2/3 full), and then there is barely any space on the Lufthansa flight to Kiev (aboard an A321). Maybe there's a …

As we complete the journey, I'm amazed how big Kiev looks. It's really spread out. There's a very large and tall monument on an outcrop in what must be near the city centre so that will have to be a point of investigation.

Without a map of the property, we managed to find three of the museums plus the giftshop but for an even better experience I suggest finding a legible map of the property, which might mean going into the giftshop to get the photoguide, and reading up on ...
