    Today was mum's birthday so she decided to go to the beach. We drove to a place called Duga Uvala, a little bay on the east coast of Istria. The beach was rocky and there were lots of sea urchins in the water, but we had our water shoes so were ok. The water was still cold but today was the warmest day so far so we were able to stay in quite a long time. Mum and I went snorkelling right across the bay.     This was somewhere I had wanted to go ever since I saw the leaflets advertising it. Galvani Park is a high ropes adrenaline course. To start of with we got harnessed up, then one of the instructors gave us a quick tutorial. Then we were off to the trees and ropes beyond.
