Constanta is a medium european city sittuated on the coast of the Black Sea.
It has over 330.000 inhabitans that live in the city and it's suburbs.
It's the oldest city in Romania (was founded in 600 b.c.).
The city was fouded by the greek colonists from Milet.

A beach town to beat all beach towns.

... more Romanian countryside and small towns to the Beach Resort area. The towns here have names like Jupiter, Venus, and Neptune. We decided to head here because Bookings.com showed lots of deals.

We ended up at a 4-Star resort (really nice rooms and grounds) for about 30 Euro/per room (2 people each) per night. That's only about $40/room and included a pretty nice breakfast. The only thing funny was in Yolanda and my room, the toilet was about ...

... not that special. From a 36 person group, only 16 were pleased with the food.
The others were either drunk or asleep.

But from up there - and don't think you're on the Kilimanjaro - you have a most wonderful view of the region. I caught the sunset light and it was a bit like in Tuscany.
This amazed even me.

Go there! Just for the view, if not for the wine, and it's a nice experience.
Don't forget to pack some lunch with you.

... beside the bar for 70cent beers..... The atmosphere was really relaxed and friendly, and the weather was hot!!! The camping was for free on the beach, and was fine for the most part, save for the occassional naturist poser flexing and looking around admiring the view..... We usually got burned out of the tents by 7am. ...
