... back traditional film making techniques, doing away with a majority of digital effects, landscapes and environments, by using real-world locations, physical sets, props and environments. The things that stood out, not only for me, but most people I spoke to during Celebration, were the above, but also when the new movie's lead droid (robot) was introduced live on stage at the opening ceremony. When we saw the first sneak peek trailer ...

Today we went to Disneyland, "The Happiest Place on Earth"! The park opens at 9am, so we set off on our short walk at about 8:30am to make it there in time to join the line. We had to walk through the Grand Californian Hotel lobby to get to there, which seemed kind of strange, considering we're not even staying there. ... trek into Myer city sore this year!

We had a great last day at Disney. Bit sad to be leaving today. We all had such a great time here, and I think that makes it even more special the fact that we all enjoyed it so much. Steph always loves to go on rides and as far as she’s concerned the bigger and faster the ride the better. It was really good to see Aaron and Blacky going on all the rides at Disneyland too. There wasn’t one ...

... was to finish off our long but fun day at DCA. Though we'd fast passed this attraction and had a spot three tiers from the edge of Paradise Bay where the show took place, it was a struggle to find a spot where we two short-ish ones could see. It was a 45 minute wait till it started and I can't remember how we passed the time. Mostly staring into space and trying to stay awake I think! We'd also heard great things about World of Colour and the tens of thousands ...
