... or Condo we had grown up with. After lunch of dumplings and gelato we pulled up mid-afternoon at Sunset Beach feeling not too bad in the saddle. The place was eerily quite so rode back to the previous village for a look around and to buy the necessary tributes of beer and wine for the evening. Somehow over our traditional Japanese dinner of miso soup and fish I didn't feel like a vino though- how random. Later that night I realised my body may have been giving me a heads ...

... spectacular views of the hillside, river and huge boulders below...think Puffing Billy on steroids! An awesome experience! As dusk fell we headed to a quaint riverside town to witness cormorant fishing. Birds on leashes, diving for fish from ancient looking boats. One has to plan a little bit ahead. Like me.. Ha! It started off ok but then all of a sudden I hit a wall and from there onwards it was like walking through glue. And mud. And quicksand. It was hell. My whole body hurt and the walk took longer than I had anticipated. But I reached the bridge and I ...

... park beneath it. The moat with giant carp - and turtles. Screeching old trams. It's cosy. So I stayed for a coffee and people-watching. Then I bid my goodbye and left just as the lunch hour struck. I got pretty infuriated later that afternoon though. Imabari struck some real bad chords. The one day that my pmt levels peaked beyond belief was the wrong day for a hotel to email out a map that sent me wild goose chasing across town for ...
