... opened up and the weather brought extreme winds and rain. It was time to bale out. Unfortunately we were just short of the Tatara bridge but as we crossed by bus and the weather was ferocious we were ok by this. Thank you body for being such an awesome vessel! The bridge was phenomenal. The cold grey steel with the nature around me as backdrop, it was extraordinary. There's something magic happening ...

... finished my oh so horrible instant coffee and went for a stroll around the bay. The light was just right for some fine harbour photos. When I got back I was just about to do some laundry in the tub when it suddenly knocks on my door and one guy who works in the hotel stands on the other side of the door with a big smile. He has cycled home and picked up a blinking and twinkling piece of apparatus that let me surf on his mobile phone ...
