Buffet Day
... to a mini suite which is fantastic...especially at the very cheap price we paid for a supreme room!
We have just finished a wonderful "all you can eat" 4 course fish and seafood buffet together with 1 diet coke and 1 sprite (Kelanton state is a "dry" state so no alcohol for a couple of days!) all at a cost of 30 times our lunch bill per person.......could this be justified.....Oh Yes!!

It was nice to walk around, except there were souvenir stalls absolutely everywhere, all offering the same thing...No I don't want a watch/handbag/I love penang T-shirt!!! One thing we both liked about Penang was the food. It really highlighted the mixture of cultures in Malaysia. Mike had the best aloo gobi and I had very nice butter chicken from a great hawker centre one night! Yum Yum.

... out to Kota Bharu. We ended up leaving KL at 11am and then made a stop at 12pm. I was happy to see that we stopped outside a filling station that had a Dunkin Donuts in it, so I was able to get a little slice of home while we waited.
