    Taking Off

A travel blog entry by billyb63 on Oct 03, 2014

Today is the day! Jonathan, Keith, Charlie and I are heading to the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Jonathan and I did some grocery shopping last night and all I have to say is we are set in the snack department. Dropping Baxter off at Pet Paradise this morning was, as usual, a little sad. Very stormy day in Charleston, SC today (and for the last 3 days in a row); and forecasted to be stormy right through Wed. So making today a driving day!!!

We saw several alligators, and ...

... gooey feeling when we saw the trees all covered in Christmas lights, Christmas decorations in shops and the Christmas displays in their windows. Not to forget the Grand Christmas Tree in Rockefeller Plaza.

Flying home on Christmas Eve, we woke up to celebrate a quiet Christmas Day at home. With presents opened and a ham baking in the oven. We had the traditional snooze after Christmas lunch while the kids played with their presents. Later in the ...

... men and women who serve in the military. However, he just wasn't the "body" most oft he women had come to see. Soon enough, there was a break in the performances and the show's star, Tim McGraw came out on stage. Adorned with a black leather cowboy hat, muscle shirt that showed every rippling muscle in his arms tight, tight jeans, and a snake skin belt to complete the picture...it was on! With screaming fans Tim did not disappoint. ...
