Beautiful park ! Many places to fish.

    Not dog friendly.

Half campsites were on the beach and half on the river.

Riverside has one bathhouse / Air conditioned but not close to all the sites.

    Large sites overall.

Rained the first day, flooded 95% of the riverside sites, ours (#54) was the worst with at least 4" of standing water.

No vacant dry spots. Refund issued returned home.

Will try again during dry season. (maybe)

Had a great time. Love cooking on the gas stove ! Had a blast.

Dogs had a blast and were super tired at the end of each day.

Park was adequate. Sites are small and many spiders. Bathrooms are not walking distance. Better sites on first loop on left side as entering park.

... or [hopefully not!] he ended up in the on base hospital). I did manage to get my standard treatment of paracetamol in there so I was quite happy. The evening was very entertaining though. Amy (one of the nurses, who also happens to be my neighbour round the corner) invited me to go out with them to an Artwalk around Jacksonville. None of us really knew what it was but it's something they'd found to do so we went along to see what was going on anyway. After ...

... popular songs, playing his guitar and of course posing strategically so that the on lookers copped an eye full of his toned physique the concert rocked into the evening. As the concert was winding to a close, Tim didn't disappoint and walked along the barriers to shake hands...and be groped by the sounds of it (you Aussies out there know who you are), by his fans.

We had a great time, with great friends to pay tribute to those ...
