    The town Oswiciem, had been renamed to Auschwitz by the Nazi’s when they invaded - and was about an hour and a half away from our apartment. The town is back to it’s Polish name, but the concentration camp still bears the name Auschwitz.

    This morning was a 0800 departure but thankfully we both slept well last night. It was a 15 minute walk to the bus. The bus was a new Mercedes bus with 49 seats and we are only 22 so everyone has their own seat. The seats recline, plenty of leg room, good storage, and individual air and light controls similar to an airplane.     ... tried the kolonial hotel, but it was full. They pointed me to a pension though, which pointed me to another one, which thankfully had a room for me.     I started the day with a breakfast at the camping at 7am, as I forgot to think about where the sun would rise, and sure thing it had turned my tent into a sauna by 6:45. I then proceeded to set off for Trencin, with the target of making it before noon.
