After 3 and a half hours train trip travelling at up to 200klms per hour we arrived at helsinki. We are fortunate our hotel is in the centre of town and within easy walking distance. Rally Finland

Of course, the reason we were there was for the rally. We had really good places at the fence to see two runs through each stage. It was the fastest rally ever run with the winner, local driver Jari-Matti Latvala achieving an average time of 125.44 kms an hour. We also enjoyed seeing the assortment of Volvo's BMW's and other classics running at the back of the field. It was great to be there and be part of the atmosphere.

  • There is no upper secondary course for TE. It is possible for schools to develop their own course which allows students to gain a diploma for 'craft'. It is very uncommon for schools to do this as it is a lot of work on the teacher and really doesn't certify the kids for much.
