Maria, Maria, Maria! The Best Guide in Girona!
... in a Zorb Ball and thne testing their luck in the 'rotating' Sprite bottle, we headed out for a nice stroll on the Passeig de Muralla. Taking in the views of the city and the snowy peaks of the Pyrenees with the sun setting in the background. Then it was a local dish of Costanyas, some Kürtos and lastly some good Girona liquor before heading back to the train for the return to Barcelona!
What a great trip to an incredible city and a great day spent with a good friend!

I will say some of the highlights were seeing the original Dalí Lincoln mural (for those of you who haven't been to our home we have a rather large signed print of this painting), Dalí's paintings of the holocoust, and a swimming pool in the shape of a penis. Again, it was a nice change from all the "Jesus art" (as my dad and Zack called it) from the rest of Europe. We also managed to discover a great winery ...
Calonge to I'Estratit to Cadaques to Berger
... a small stone canopy over the booth window. Only a small bump, hehe. The ruins weren't that impressive, not a huge amount of info. The roads to Cadaques were like an extreme horseshoe path. I spent the day fearing for my life! As demonstrated in the video. A very stressful journey!!! If I had been driving one of two things would have happened. 1. I would have stopped on the road got out and walked... Crying refusing to drive any further or 2. I would have batted of ...
Barcelona to Calogne
... we could get it cheaper else where, we haven't found any yet! Yesterday was mostly driving along motorways to start (there are an insane amount of toll booths) and then along the costal mountains. We had one hiccup with our first toll booth experience. We followed a van to what appeared to be the only lane that would accept vehicles like ours only to get there and see you have to have a prepaid ...
