The roads out of Istanbul are almost as choked and unpleasant as those coming in... until we reach the huge suspension bridge from Europe into Asia. Then, for ten minutes, it almost makes the battle seem worthwhile. The views on both sides are breathtaking. Other than that, we spent our time relaxing by the pool and sea at Casa dell Arte, a small family hotel in a quiet old fishing village.
