Woke up bright and early to check out, only slept for 5 hours. We left our luggage in luggage storage and went to the market that was closed yesterday to see it in action. It was so busy, I finally realized where everyone was, people don't go out as much at night. ... and I went to explore the city. Shizuoka is very close to Mt Fuji so Dad's friend found us a nice high building to go to the top of, where we could see views of the whole city and Mt Fuji. We also went to a temple, which looked really nice but it was already getting dark by the time we got there so we didn't spend long ...

That night we met a gentlemen from Toronto that was a technician for cirque de soli on his way home after a 15 month tour in Japan. He told us about life in the circus which seemed to involve a lot of drinking and time away from home.

Finally we arrived at the Shizuoka station.

Every time when I attend the wedding ceremony, the atmosphere made me happy.
