After a chill night and yet another beautiful meal we enjoy yet more sleep... It's holidays after all! Finally late at night Tom, Amy and gorgeous Asher arrived and get settled. We sit up with some wine until late, it's still so warm. We wake late the following morning and head out for lunch. The food is amazing as always. We ordered iced coffee, beer and ouzo all at once (when ...

Late at night Bridget and I finally arrive in Rhodes. An island which sits closer to Turkey than the mainland of Greece. It is a beautiful 32 degrees with a light breeze. Sarah Kate and Joel had an extra late night and are not interested in anything but a trip to the beach and a quiet day. Mary and I decide to visit the old town that is surrounded by a huge wall and moat. On arrival it is already over 30c and we decide to walk through the small backstreets to see the whole village. We walk to a local market selling all of their local produce ...

A day on the road at Rhodes !!! Alan organized a fleet of taxis to transport us round the main points of interest in Rhodes - which are few. Basically a look at where the Collusus once stood, a trip down to Lindos with its Acropolis, via a ceramic place, and back up to the main city via Faliraki. It was pleasant and relaxing, the taxis were quite expensive (200€ each for 4 hours), our driver was nice but after Lindos on the return trip there wasn't much commentary. Liam was ...

... shore. I helped cool down dad in the kiddy pool as soon as we were back on board. We spent the rest of the day relaxing by the pool and watching the ship leave at around 6:30 pm. We laughed as dad got a phone notification that read welcome to Turkey! I've never been on a cruise where you can see other islands around you while moving to the next location. It is really beautiful. Diner was a lot of fun! We are clearly one of the craziest families on board. The staff calls ...
