Senora de Rossell S/N Lloret de Mar, Costa Brava, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands, 17310 , 972-365-820
... this period of year there are mostly aged people resting there, however I noticed there a lot of clubs near the beaches, so I consider that in summer this town is full of students. The beaches are sandy and what is important all those beaches are public. And one more thing - there are NO PRIVATE BEACHES in Lloret de Mar!
Lloret de Mar, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands eleoshka... at Roses looked much better with a lot more seafood included.

After lunch we set off up to the castle, inside its walls are numerous little houses which are still inhabited, although the satellite dishes were rather incongruous! After all this exercise it was time for a cocktail followed by a spot of shopping before eventually heading back to L’Escala.

Tossa de Mar, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands nanofino... br>
As if the Dali Museum wasn't cool enough, the next stop was two little villages on the Mediterranean coast called Portlligat and Cadaques. Dali lived in Portlligat and his house has since been turned into a museum, complete with big eggs on the roof (Dali was big on big eggs-they were all over the place at the Dali Museum). We drove up this tiny mountain road (which was interesting in a really big bus...) and as we were going over a hill, the ...
Girona, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands aspinmasterLast day with our C8 MPV and so Sue plotted out a day on the Costa Brava coast. Her research was spot on and we ended up for breakfast at Tossa de Mar (albeit at 10am). Gorgeous beach and easy parking just beating the rush. By the time we left (after a long swim) beach was packed. Sandy even did as the locals and bared her ...
Tossa de Mar, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands buckgw... town is on a hill with windy, narrow streets. It is filled with small cafes. I go to one that has tables just below a monument that is lit. Menu is in Catalan. Some similarity to Spanish but different enough that I only catch a few words. In some places, I have found that on a buildings, they will have both Spanish and Catalan. I think my waiter gives up on me. It is 30 minutes before someone takes my order (not my waiter). No apologies.
Girona, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands will.travellerSleeping on the sand fully clothed was a new one for us and were forced to wake up by the sun rise. As the sun got higher in the sky we seemed to get more and more lazy until we just decided to stay another night. I´m 22 and still havent managed to learn the sun tan lotion lesson. As a result I now look like the inside of a water melon ...
Santa Susanna, Catalonia, Spain chris_jones01... busted into a campsite to enjoy some free entertainment. We danced like fools amongst people on family holidays. After taking it up a peg and getting up on stage the DJ started to play happy birthday!!!! unfortunately no one joined in due to a lack of popularity gained from dancing offensively and clearing the dance floor by smelling really really bad. Although all was good because a group of mums asked olly to take his top off.
Santa Susanna, Catalonia, Spain chris_jones01... easy ascent. We then coasted down the mountain into spain were we purchased some cheap Spanish stuff.

Alex went for a two in the woods and stung his backside. Then to make things worse, after we set up camp, we suddenly heard a booming sound. We had set up camp next to a runway by accident. Fools.
Girona, Catalonia, Spain chris_jones01... is financing the completion of the church. An aside here: we had been told to look for mimes throughout the city. Even so, this one fooled us until we remembered that there are mimes all around. Plus, there was a marble-looking stack of boxes to accept coins; I first thought it was some kind of religious shrine, so I stopped to examine the collection box. Then, and only then, did I think ...
