... lost. Went to talk to the shop lady we made friends with and soon enough, she recommend us to a restaurant where she always frequent ever since she was a child. There might be lobsters there, depending on the catch for the day she said but her detailed descriptions of self barbecue beef and shrimps and squids got us salivating and in double quick time, we stop a taxi and to our seafood destination.

Lac Canh at Nguyen Binh Khiem is a small road side stall. Nha Trang, Vietnam orgasmicjunketOur first stop in Viet Nam was Nha Trang (I've not heard of it either). It’s a city of about 300,000. Hundreds of vendors had set up their kiosks on the pier before we even got off the ship. The people were very friendly, spoke English pretty well, and traded in U.S. dollars. While shopping at the pier, we met an Aussie couple (Glen and Betty) and shared a cab into town. We reached the Central Market, did a lot of ...
Nha Trang, Vietnam cubnelaine... pillows you could order, a complimentary box of chocolates with six unique flavors including salty, buttery, nutty and so on with a green tea set up. Our bathroom was all fancy with a pounded metal basin, all the complimentary water and toiletries had their own muslin bags, and the kicker -----outside in a enclosed space was a little garden and a jacuzzi tube. We got into our big Thai pants and t-shirts and went out on the porch to enjoy ...
Nha Trang, Khánh Hòa, Vietnam calexis... a bit further than your nose you will find the light at the end of the tunnel... Back to the Daughter with the Grumpy Brother, and took a shower and a bite to eat. A fancy new restaurant just opened and they all looked nervous and a bit too friendly and helpful. You know what I mean, waiting at your table with 3 of them until you order!! A bit too much, but I guess they want to ready when tourism starts flocking in. Food was good, and we wish them all the best!
<br ...

Nha Trang, Vietnam bridyfitz... from harsh winds in the afternoon and rougher seas. After sussing out the town we began a long search of diving companies and eventually settled on Rainbow dives who were PADI certified and had a promotion on, two discover scuba dives for $50. Had a few drinks but not too many as I definatley didn't want a hangover the next day for diving.

30th August
Diving day!
8am start, boarded the boat and met our instructor for the day and what as unqualified divers we would expect from ...
Nha Trang, Vietnam karkade... back. Haha. I am really curious to know which type of massage this was because I never had one like this before. I thought it felt really good compared to my first one in Saigon but everyone else said it was ok. On our way back to Nha Trang it was pouring rain. It was coming down pretty hard too. Dave and I stopped and picked up polka dot ponchos and as we are driving I felt the back tire slipping. We stop and notice that it’s flat. Charlie finds a local guy who ...
Nha Trang, Vietnam allieadventures... rare black-shanked douc langur monkey. Apparently these monkeys exist in other areas of Indochina, but this group has been stranded on the mountainous peninsular and so has developed a unique DNA makeup. It was a surreal privilege to watch them play in the jungle through a telescope at 6 in the morning.

We ended up staying 4 nights at Jungle Beach, and I can't pretend it was a difficult life. Most of our time was spent sunbathing, reading in our hammocks ...
Nha Trang, Vietnam chloeb... they were from. We then moved on to the “floating bar” part of the trip, which was actually really fun. They threw a bunch of lifesaver rings into the water, and a bartender jumped in with a bottle of local Vietnamese wine (which was gross, by the way) and poured shots for everyone. We had a great time floating in the clear blue water and making fun of how gross the wine was. It was definitely a highlight of the snorkeling trip. We were pretty much done at that ...
