I really can't believe this day has come, I am officially out of the Philippines and on my way back home. I now sit in the airport in South Korea waiting out my 6 hour layover, thankfully with Erica. Tears have been off and on over the past day or so, which we spent at my friend Christine's parent's house in Manila. It was really nice to see them again and try to recuperate from out long stay in Tacloban. But it also made us realize what little time we had ...

What to do with my day off on our last week in Korea.....as much as I like our cozy home-away-from-home, I definitely didn't want to spend even more in time in the hotel. (I had been here so long, the maid felt quite comfortable in scolding me on my way out for not wearing a jacket. She didn't do this in English, yet I not only understood but obeyed her and returned to my room to fetch a coat.)

The Koreans are still very adamant about traditional herbal medicines and remedies so I'm sure these clinics are very popular.

... fun is a huge air filled bouncy floor with a pirate ship, ball pit, hidden jungle gym area with slides and the girls favorite, a choo choo train. It was so much fun both girls were begging to stay after our two hours were up. Fortunate for me, I held my parental ground and we went back to the hotel room for a nap.

Seoul has been great so far. It has been frustrating, trying to do things as a group when public transit and such is involved. However, most people went home today, so we now have a much smaller group, and have moved to a hostel in a hipper part of time.
