... residences for the rulers - but today all was in ruins or in the process of restoration when funds allow. The site is high on a hill and it was a lovely walk from the top down, meandering the rocky paths and through the stone ruins. We had the same guide as to Mycenae - he is the son of a Greek Orthodox priest - so he gave a lot of religious interpretation of the frescoes - which led to a discussion at our lunch about the parents of Mary - and the difference between ...

Our plane tickets ended up being $100 more expensive and that much more stressful. Stoupa is magical and looks like it is right out of a story book. We set up in the same small remote beach area which is nice to be away from the big crowds. We swam, snorkeled and played in the sand. I know I've talked about the buoyancy to the water but there is no effort into floating and swimming and with snorkeling it is the closest thing to what I imagine flying would be like. Will and Kelly encouraged ...
