    Farewell to Fouli

A travel blog entry by arwie on Jul 16, 2014

Into Charakopio and meet Sitaris. Insists that we come to see him as he has a large pot of olive oil for us. Sadly no time before we leave (and realistically, no room in the van for more olive oil). Last dinner at Foulis, sitting outside watching the world go by. Very pleasant though only semi understood chats with Ianni, Foulis and their son Michaelis. Lots of hugs goodbye and gifts of ouzo, olives and olive oil. I am sure we will see them ...

We know there are two campsites there and the one we want is listed by the Rough Guide as one of the top ten in Greece. In a tiny bay, right by the sea with its own taverna on the beach. Sounds perfect. It is shut!! Gone out of business. From the ...

    DAY4⃣!

A travel blog entry by indianlantern on Aug 15, 2013

Last night, we went to the pizza place on the sea front for tea, and to be fair, it was rubbish We didn't get our order taken for at least 15 minutes, the order got taken down wrong and then they charged us for two garlic breads, which we didn't even order! The food was nice, however they got angry at us when we said that we didn't order the garlic bread Apart from that bad experience, we went to the Steki (again, it's ...
