... line and, except for the four hotels, the
houses are without any style and unmaintained. The tourists were walking further
and further hoping to find something interesting or nice. There was nothing.

After walking for about an hour in the 34 degree heat, I
went back to the tenderd and rode back to the ship.

... a carbon copy of my Bayliner Trophy lake boat on the harbour wall- I didn't even know that these American boats were sold in Europe.

The Mani peninsular has many defensive Mani towers in villages, owned and built by the various clans around the area who were constantly fighting each other. Sounds a bit like the New Zealand Maori tribes, before the whit man arrived, except that here they didn't eat ...

... over, the wind gets up with thunder and lightning, and it usually rains for an hour- sometimes torrentially- see the waterfall roadway in the photo! Then the sun comes out again in time for a lovely sunset.
