... we didn't care. The museum was very interesting as it displayed all the motorcycles from the beginning of the company to the ones from today. Also on display were how each motorcycle were designed and constructed.
After visiting the gift shop, Susan and I decided it was dinner time so off to Chicago we went.
We met at Les' house in Glendale to finish packing. We had a great dinner with some Chilean wine. Wow, tomorrow we will be leaving. I hope that I have a toothbrush. I needed practice posting a photo to this blog. We leave Milwaukee at 12:50 and have a short layover in Atlanta tomorrow. Pam
Glendale, Wisconsin, United States pamellingson... sat one row behind where we should have been and it was fine. We got the old person bus because they did not want a movie on the way to Chicago. That is fine we will watch one on the way home like last year. We arrived in Chicago at 9:30 and we were dropped off on Rush Street behind the Chicago Place shopping center.
Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States maryandtimWe left early so that we would have enough time to deal with traffic on the way to Chicago. We got held up right by 84th street on 894. We exited the freeway and took 76th street south to the Racine boarder. This was much better. The rest of the way there was not too much traffic. We stopped at the oasis for a Aunt Annies Pretzel before the show.
Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States maryandtimExciting times! One more day before the big trip and we are doing out last minute preparations before we go. There are things to be packed though and that will get done tonight and then a little bit more tomorrow. We have an evening flight so we should be pretty well rested and ready to scout about Copenhagen as soon as we get checked into the hotel.
Stay tuned for more!
... I know it is still early, but it gave me a peace thinking I had a place for sure. I know God will provide, whether through this family or another. There is some other things too, but not as important as a place to stay.

... items from Peace Corps Volunteers (PCV). I bought yak traks, which I will be wearing in winter because I hear that Ukrainians do not put salt or sand on the roads so it is difficult to keep footing.
I'm also working on getting an address book together so I can keep track of people hopefully. It is much tougher than I ...
... one of my dreams to join peace corps since probably high school. So it was difficult waiting and waiting. But in the end it was worth it.
I was such a mix of emotions before I left. I was excited but terrified. Full of confidence but doubting my abilities. Peace corps was all I could talk about, think about even dream about. I was like a kid at Christmas just waiting for the day to come. It finally came and with it reality hit. I was ...
Thanks to Rob for allowing me to stay in his baller ass apartment situated directly on top of a bar, I got to experience the greatness that is Milwaukee (when the weather is nice). I got to hit up a few brewery tours, some sweet bars (spy bar!), cheap beer wasn't hard to find, finally tried out P90X (ouch) and I even experienced the Blink182 ...
