... br> The small ferry arrived right on time and cars on first, then the bikes. One car was left behind and if this was an Asian ferry it would’ve got on no worries at all. I could see the wasted space! After we were dropped off following a pleasant cruise across the lake it went back and got the last car. Nice friendly service, as it runs hourly only.

By the time I got down Phil wasn’t able to continue biking as he now also had migraine. We returned to Klatovy and explored the Catacombs, creeped me out a bit. All naturally mummified for over 400 years through the clever ventilation system, clothes and all – not a bandage or chemical in sight.
