... to see the scale of the brewery – it’s gigantic. The bottling plant alone was phenomenal, with a capacity of 120,000 bottles per hour. You got to see the historical side of the brewery as well as the new contemporary side –

By the time I got down Phil wasn’t able to continue biking as he now also had migraine. We returned to Klatovy and explored the Catacombs, creeped me out a bit. All naturally mummified for over 400 years through the clever ventilation system, clothes and all – not a bandage or chemical in sight.

Wednesday

As it was very hot today, over 30 degrees we left it until late to drive to Passau where we explored the town ate/drank the addictive iced coffee and had dinner. We just made it back to the car park before a thunderstorm broke.
