... Black Jack luck was definitely not with me in Monaco. But I did see Princess Caroline (after a bit of internet research, I am pretty sure it was her and not Stephanie) at a fancy shopping mall. She was leaving and all her security were precdventing anyone getting close. She then drove off in a silver Porsche...no joke. She looked a bit old and tired. Maybe too much Monaco sun in her life. Anyways, the pictures say it better than i ever could...

... to my 2nd class mostly thanks to M. le proviseur. and its a lycee professionel class. these are the classes where they place kids who are not going to college, those destined to be in the work force....

so i try to play 2 truths and a lie, which is a bit too complicated for them, and instead just do introductions. they weren't super talkative so i asked them what their favorite things to do are.....

Have had fun in France. Nice is interesting and the beautiful water of the mediterranian was great to woke up to... Mick went for a swim !! we caught a train to Cannes and we looked around all the exclusive spots but noone we knew... just rich people and us tourists..
we also went to Montecarlo.. fantastic.. even swa a kart race in Monaco... had a look at the MonteCarlo Casino.. impressive if only for the flashy cars and people with too much cash ...

so 2 weeks into france and i've yet to write a thing. im so bad at this game. meh.
today i went to the beach, it was wonderful!!!! becca thought it was cold, she was wrong :)

so apparently sainte maxime is infiltrated by german tourists, who knew? the only frenchies on the beach were...well enjoying themselves quite a bit..... ;-)

Well, I am writing this entry from Switzerland. Sitting at the Geneva airport. My flight from Barcelona to Geneva (to connect onto a flight to Nice) was delayed and then delayed again which meant I missed my connecting flight. Was originally angry about this cause I have lost a day of travel time, but it has given me the opportunity to sort some photos and begin my Monte Carlo relax period. ... 8217;s brother and friend arrive to stay with us for the next 3 nights and we’re so excited to see some family. The boys have been out of their minds counting down the days until they arrive. This really is a beautiful part of Europe and we feel fortunate to have found such a nice place to end off this amazing trip. Only 1 more blog entry after this one and 10 days until we’re home! Drinks were somewhat expensive, but the price was nothin in comparison to the view and the relaxing atmosphere. ... loved it. We took the tender boat to Villefranche in the morning and wandered around the cobbled streets and also visted nearby Monte carlo and Monaco in the afternoon, where Gus gambled a bit and won enough to buy the lovliest pair of leather shoes.
