... taxi ride, it works out around 10 pound for the 30 mile ride (funny how nearly every taxi ride, from 5 minutes to an hour on this trip has always cost the same). The pace quickens as everyone is trying to buy the tickets and the three guys inside the booth scribble away frantically. Once you have the ticket, the taxi drivers are in your face trying to snatch the ticket so they can claim the ride. This ...

When we traveled Goa in November we went to over 10 beaches. I was suprised at how different they all were. We ended up meeting 2 cracking German girls aswell who had been hitch-hiking around Iran! Pretty the last thing I would ever think of doing. But they both spoke amazing English and one of them Pella reminded me of a couple of people I know back home. She was quite hippy. So we stayed chatting, drinking, dancing and chilling til the end then the DJ ...

... staff told me that they didn't serve fresh seafood during the rainy season. I did have a fish curry though with dried fish and frozen prawns. The good thing about Goa is that cheap cold beer is readily available, even during long power blackouts.

Goa was once a Portuguese colony, hence the abundance of white churches. As christianity is the main religion, booze, casinos and ...
