    ... the place was decorated as such. On the stage a host held competitions mixed up with dancers performing. And you sure did not have to leave hungry! They had prepared a buffet that was about 50 meters long with all kinds of food from Indian dishes to bbq'd fresh seafood. They had a man make you naan bread as you watched (naan is a typical Indian bread made in a clay oven) and to top it off they had a dessert table with probably 20 different choices. At 12 there were fireworks ...

    ... I should go to for any help and what to do when I get to Pokhara. Needless to say 2 days later I was already ditching our suitcases for new big backpacks.
    I could go on with many examples, of kindness, words of encouragement from random people, job offers and all sorts of random experiences when they were needed most, if only for our egos, but honestly it has never been more clear that we are on the right track to who knows where. ...

    Reason why I love Goa..........
    There is no government tax on alcohol!!!!! This means that normally a beer would cost you anything up to R40.00 per quart now costs R12.00. All prices are quoted in South African Rand
    Accommodation in a guest house, lovely clean double room, en suite bathroom and private balcony R56.00.
    Breakfast either big bowl of fruit salad and banana smoothie or cheese and tomato omellette toast and tea R12.00
