... henna tattoos which gave us a lasting memory of the day.

All in all I hugely enjoyed my time spent in Mugla. It is a small city with no tourists, however this gives you the chance to really explore the Turkish culture.

I would definitely recommend CSV; it gave me the opportunity to meet people from all over the world including Taiwan, Korea and from all over Europe.

Again we made our way to YeşIlyurt for our final day of weaving. Lots to do. First, we finished weaving, so our projects could come off the looms. Then, we learned how to twist fringes by hand, make a knotted fringe, add tassels and finally make Leno. We didn't finish the Leno so now we all have homework! Though no one will be checking up on us.

He made videos and took pictures and interviewed Sue (in Turkish) while we warped the loom, wound bobbins, and learned to weave with a fly shuttle. We will know tomorrow when and where ...

We decided to call it a day at this glitzy Resort Hotel Safaklar along the route. A small room with curtains a bit too glittery for our taste. Also overpriced. We slept like babies though.... ...

Catching up with friends in Hisaronu

Took a bus to Fethiye, then dolmus to Ovacik.....where we caught up with Fi, Auds and Angela on holiday for a week, and staying in another friends' apartment in Ovacik. We cadged 3 nights on their floor.

Much drinking, eating and socialising, and of course swimming in the pool!

We did take on one of the hardest walks we've ever tried - compounded by the searing heat and loose stoney ground!
We took off just after 9am, and it was ...
