        ... changing of the guard though, and can those soldiers high kick! For dinner we had a traditional Russian McDonalds before tramping back to flop into bed. Also stopped off to buy some cake things, Ben thought they would be like gingerbread but eating them was a bit like eating stale bread with a mouthful of toothpaste. Also Ben thinks he looks like a local because people keep talking to him in Russian.         ... vomiting in public isn't what turns Anastasia on...  The next morning I felt horrendous, and the only reason I was awake was because Dim had come to collect me. We'd arranged to go to a war museum and ice skating at Gorky Park. The war museum was really interesting and moving at the same time. Ice skating was fantastic.         Today we have no guide so a slow start and as we haven't to keep to a timetable we skip the Hotel "business buffet" and walk to a cafe near the GUM department store for an equally expensive but very nice croissant and fruit repast.
