Standing in the queue a guy next to us said something in Russian to us, so we advised him we spoke only English to which in very broken English he asked where we came from.     ... inside, at least not the bits we were allowed to visit. There were a few churches, a massive canon, and some old buildings being refurbished. However, the armoury was amazing! The armoury is a museum in the kremlin (separate entrance fee) and it houses all the treasures that the Russian empire had accumulated to date.     ... out with the Kremlin stood in front of me, and I have to say it is a very impressive sight indeed. Much bigger than you think from the photos I have seen and it takes a good 20 minutes to walk round the perimeter. The walls are very high and its hard to really see much up that close. The Kremlin is open to the public, however guess what? ...It's closed on Mondays! Monday? Who closes one of their most popular sites on a Monday? I think the Russian tourist board are ...

    ... guards at the tomb of the unknown soldier and watched them do their "funny" march.
    In the morning we visited the space museum which had all their past space shuttles and sputniks featured. We got to personally talk to a Cosmonaut who walked in outer space in 1987 - that was a highlight getting to ask him questions.

    ... and checkin with LOT and get boarding passes for our trip home. More to come . . . We have successfully landed at Warsaw's Frederick Chopin Airport. As I suspected, we had collect our bags from the baggage claim. This required us to enter Poland go and fetch our bags, get our tickets for Toronto and once again go through security. Six hour layovers are not fun.As I write this we have another 2 1/2 hours. Will publish one more entry tomorrow August ...
