*We would have liked to stay longer in Erdobenye.
*We drive 150 km along a mainly rural route towards the Romanian border. We pass through villages where there are stork nests on the top of every lamp post. Curiously some nests have just 1 adult standing guard whilst others have 4 or 5 clambering for space. Must google why!
It is early evening in Bucharest and I can already feel the difference between here and Cluj.
Bucharest is a bigger city, but I prefer the feel of Cluj. A big turn off was the mass amounts of people that approach asking to buy their products/services or just give them money.

We haven't passed any "changer" that allows us to purchase currency with our VISA credit cards. Since I don’t want to be charged for a cash advance or a foreign ATM withdrawal, we are trying to live off credit card purchases while in Romania. Especially since we are only in 2 Romanian cities for a total of 2 full days.

... in the early stages of becoming a cabin resort. We were able to sleep inside the common room, we lit a roaring fire and drank some wines, lots of talking, took it in turns of falling asleep in front of the fire before dragging our mattress's in front of the fire at 4am. ... I hope I can return and see the country properly one day. The time I spent there left me in a weird state of being heartbroken yet filled with love for humankind. It was probably the place that left the strongest impression on me out of the whole trip.
So this is it for now, I've been back to real life for a while now, had time to soak it all in, and can only hope that I will get to repeat the experience in the not very distant future!
