Then itºs back to base where we have a chat with some very friendly Belgian silver surfers, who inform us they have been camping ...
Montinhos da Luz, Faro, Portugal lymandannabelle... of "pints" in a sports bar and watched the Brazil v England match. Luckily we were the only couple in there! We wandered around the walled town of Lagos utterly impressed by the consisten beauty and well kept buildings. Lots of tiling and prettily painted doors and window frames on top of the whitewashed buildings everywhere. We decided to eat takeaway pizza, washed down with more beer and a game of pool.

By another random coincidence, I ran into an older American traveler who was staying at the hostel in Faro with us, and who I had talked to earlier that morning. Over breakfast I had made an effort to score a free ride with him to Lagos, but had been unsuccessful. He was just ...
A silent drive to the train station. Frank drops me off, and I don't say a word as I grab my bag and close the car door. Now what? North or South? I could likely stay with Luis again in Lisbon, but I hate backtracking. Its 6:30 in the morning, and the first train arrives at 7:00, heading North. Minder blij waren we met de duizenden vliegende mieren. De overlast viel uiteindelijk erg mee.
En nog wat beelden van rond Alvor, een heerlijk oord om voor anker te liggen.

The Great Hall is the size of an indoor football ...
