    Today, the Rhapsody of the Seas pulled into Bodrum, Turkey, and I'm afraid that the Turners did not get off the ship. We always enjoy the days when the ship is in port, because the decks are empty! We know that Bodrum is a beautiful beach town, but we have been to so many fabulous beaches, we decided to skip it. I know that we will be back to Turkey, so we will have another opportunity to visit both Bodrum and Kusadasi.

    We have time for a stroll this morning and find a long esplanade lined with touristy clothes shops and cafes. This is definitely touristville and from all accounts this is typical along this stretch of Turkish coastline. JaM stop for a cappuccino and take in the vista of jelly belly white pommies blobbing in the calm azure ocean and some lounging on white cushioned banana chairs perfectly lined up in rows of hundreds.
