This side of the pass consists of no less than about 27 hairpin bends and is just great for bikes on sunny days such as this.

tour groups! The Acropolis was however worth the fuss. This ancient site is in real trouble. They are currently replacing (not restoring or preserving) sections of marble as it's in real danger of collapsing. The views over Athens were excellent from the Acropolis and the all white buildings made for some great photos. We also did a scenic drive around Athens and the ports of Pireaus.

... to another show, "Listen to the Music" which concluded in time for us to leave our dock and commence sailing out of Venice. This was very spectacular with all of the lights of the city being reflected into the waterways of the Canale Grande and Canale di San Marco.
