If you are booking a room in Savannah, be sure to book with Olde Harbour Inn. The staff we incredibly friendly and helpful! The room was a complete surprise! We thought we were getting a standard small room with a queen bed and bathroom. Instead we walked into a hallway which took us to a bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, and furnished living room over looking the river. The building is beautiful and conveniently located on River St!
We will be staying here again!

... shop and it was great. They had honey infused wine and beer to try. There was also a piece of honeycomb and apple with cheese on and it was delicious. I wouldn't normally try that combination but boy did it work! I tried the honey skincare products too which were amazing but expensive to buy. We were planning on seeing the fireworks for the 4th of July. So we were making our way to the event which consisted of stalls and music etc. ...

I got up at 7:15 to get ready for the day. We went down to breakfast and it was really good. I had eggs, sausage, fruit and yogurt. Larry had eggs and grits. We got on the bus at 8:30 and headed to Tybee Island. It took a while to get there. We stopped at Tybee Lighthouse and Fort Screven. We took lots of pictures. Tybee Lighthouse has lots of other buildings connected with keeping a lighthouse. It is still operational. ...

... was ok because we had another lighthouse on our itinerary for later in the afternoon.

Our phones were going bananas with weather alerts but luckily for us, the alerts were not for the Savannah area but rather for our home town of Orlando. We called our cat sitter and a few neighbors to make certain everything was fine and then moved on to our next stop: The Tybee Island Lighthouse and Museum.

We had a bit of a GPS malfunction getting there ...

... good snacks at the winery and there were FREE BRATS at the timeshare, along with a beer tasting. I knew I wasn't hungry enough for a dinner so we decided to go with the brats and the beer. It was really fun. They have three fire pits here now, new this year. They burn real logs in them and it was cool and felt like camping out in Minnesota. The beer was great. The guy in charge was hilarious. He got growlers from a local pub that has crafts beers. ...
