If you are booking a room in Savannah, be sure to book with Olde Harbour Inn. The staff we incredibly friendly and helpful! The room was a complete surprise! We thought we were getting a standard small room with a queen bed and bathroom. Instead we walked into a hallway which took us to a bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, and furnished living room over looking the river. The building is beautiful and conveniently located on River St!
We will be staying here again!

Performing an Annual Fire Gear Equipment Check

A multiple-alarm fire is not any spot to test the pump. However, the test pit is. All fire apparatus ought to be tested yearly--there should be no exceptions or excuses. Environmental concerns say for example a water shortage don't relieve a department of ...

The boat was taking on more water and was making very loud noises that we knew were not good. And we were literally in the middle of no where so we were had no choice but to continue. And so we did. Turns out the scenery was awesome and we quickly fell in love with the low country vista. Just not the bugs.

... 2 hours south of Florence! She took some crazy address that I retrieved out of my now jumbled travel files and we headed off to find Hertz. The system was: stand outside in the pouring rain where there was no cover; wait about 10 minutes for a bus; bus door opens on the opposite side of where we were standing; run and push your way up into the bus; try to find a spot to stand; the inside of the bus could not hold all the ...
