Day 10. I’ve noticed more of the little things while being back in civilization…like how much I enjoy a real shower, a clean toilet, washer and dryer, and a refrigerator. It definitely makes me appreciate these things more and not take them for granted.

Today Laura had class until 3pm so I was on my own to go exploring. I started off with checking out Torrey Pines hiking trails to get me out of the city and into a pair of hiking boots. ...

After our college visit, we then go to the San Diego Padres baseball game.
-Tickets were $70 each and parking was $15.

I then proceeded towards Hollywood Grill to order our lunch. I ordered some pizza and fries for a ...

Today we bid Anaheim farewell & back on the road, albeit a small drive. Next stop is San Diego, via Legoland. Unfortunately the kids didn't have as many rides as they wished today. the queues were ridiculous. 1-2 hrs. Both kids are really into their Lego, but most of the rides were really aimed at the younger kids. The Mini Land was quite good. All these cities & some countries all made of Lego. To me ...

... Do not mix well. Aaron and I then toddled off to Belmont Park at Mission Beach, it's an old school style arcade board walk. There wasn't must happening there and I think it would be better at night. Grumble bum didn't want to be there so we left early. It was a really long nice looking beach- there is a cement path all the way along, heaps of fit bodies running up and down. We are back in the room now having a rest - still have not had a good sleep ...
