Where oh where are you Gerard Butler?
... I absolutely loved the Irish countryside. I'm realizing more and more how much of a small town girl I am at heart. The scenery is lovely, the people are so nice and friendly, and I just really appreciate the slower pace of life. We didn't get to go to the exact spot where they filmed the movie, since we weren't part of the tour, but we still had a good time walking around.

Week 3 & 4 Adventures
... that we have no excuse to stay in the city every weekend when it is so cheap to take a day trip to the lovely surrounding towns. We didn't actually do any research on this place, we were just thinking about the immediate concerns. Lunch stop was at Cahersiveen, into another little pub the size of my lounge room but with lower ceilings. Most stops tend to be only an hour or so which for a sticky beak dawdler like me becomes a challenge in time management!

... I thought would be ******** but turned out to be true is that they start drinking as soon as the pub doors opens. There have been people in pubs drinking a pint of Guinness every morning may not be many but you will see at least one at every pub and its always a Guinness in hand. Luck of the Irish
... but then she started laughing…we started laughing super hard and said this is the best city on earth because apparently St. Patty’s day was so much fun, she had to have been still drunk!!!! The bus ride was a hoot because we of course sat up on the second level and just took everything in about the city. The city was gorgeous and it was actually sunny out!!!!
