We made it! Over 44,500 miles and thirty countries in 254 days. So, many thanks to those who were so encouraging and to those whose expertise and experience helped us get ready. And thank you to everyone who was so generous in giving us a comfortable bed and a home cooked meal. And thanks for allowing me to share the trip with you. It added a new dimension to the odyssey.

Queensland area and around Rockhampton, which is where our travelling
companions Glestelle & Tom hale from.
The sixty mile per hour winds (which is around 100 kilometres per hour)
seem to pale into insignificance compared to what those back home went

... full time RVers like us, and one couple from Ontario repeatedly advised Greg not to work again, that Greg would have more fun retired than he will working. Words to live by.

We'll be heading to Clearwater, near Tampa, tomorrow. The forecast is for unusually cold and wet weather the next few days. It feels like we are travelling with a black cloud over us since we left Texas.

... all the way from their homes near Helsinki, Finland. Having learned a bit of Finn myself, I had my first opportunity to try it out. The got a huge laugh out of "Busca Hse." Some of you will appreciate this.
