    Arrived in Denver. Nice flight, plenty of leg room. I had booked a car through hot wire. Got to the rental car office - EZ rental. Found out the car could not be taken out of state. So back to my phone and found a car at Alamo. Got a ride with EZ to Alamo. That was a $500 Bo Bo. We drove 2 hrs to Laramie and the Hampton Inn was very nice. Off to Park ...

    We woke up to a lovely coating of snow but the sky was clear which looked promising. We left Boulder at 9 and the car temperature gauge in the car was saying 33F which is 1C. Needless to say we had many layers on and all our trekking gear on. First stop was an outlet shopping area north of Boulder, good for shoes and jeans but not much else.     Yesterday morning I went to see one of Laramie's main attractions: the Wyoming Territorial Prison. It opened in 1873, four years after Wyoming became a territory. It served as a correctional facility for 30 years, housing murderers, rapists, thieves - even a man sentenced to a month behind bars for "stretching the truth".
