Yesterday morning I went to see one of Laramie's main attractions: the Wyoming Territorial Prison. It opened in 1873, four years after Wyoming became a territory. It served as a correctional facility for 30 years, housing murderers, rapists, thieves - even a man sentenced to a month behind bars for "stretching the truth". I must say I have lucked out on hotels on this trip. The Travelodge in Gardiner was probably the least to my liking, but overall it wasn't a bad experience. I had no clue what to expect from this Days Inn, so again, I lucked out.
Two more nights of vacation in Denver, and two different hotels on different ends of town. This week has flown by.
